XRay Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) gives Minecraft players the ultimate advantage when exploring underground. Designed for convenience and efficiency, this utility mod highlights only the blocks you want to see such as diamonds, emeralds, or spawners while making common blocks like stone and dirt invisible. Whether you’re mining for rare resources, scouting cave systems, or looking for buried structures, XRay Mod makes it easier and faster.
Compatible with most other mods and optimized for both performance and customization, it’s especially useful for players who value time and precision in survival or competitive multiplayer environments. With features like Fullbright, Fly Mode, and Customizable Block Profiles, XRay Mod offers total control over how you navigate the underground.

Configuration
How do I change what blocks are visible?
All configuration is managed through the in-game user interface. Press the default keybinding J to open it.
From the interface, simply check or uncheck blocks to control their visibility. Most blocks are visible by default, except those pre-blacklisted as irrelevant for XRay.
Missing blocks?
Some blocks, especially from third-party mods, may not appear initially. XRay tries to auto-detect and populate known blocks but will gradually include missing ones during gameplay as they’re filtered.
How do I change what is on the coordinates display?
In the same interface, scroll to the bottom where you’ll find a text field for editing coordinate display content. Below is a list of available placeholder variables:
Coordinates Option | Description |
---|---|
{X}, {Y}, {Z} | Displays XYZ coordinates. |
{X1}, {Y1}, {Z1} | Coordinates with 1 decimal place. |
{X2}, {Y2}, {Z2} | Coordinates with 2 decimal places. |

{FPS} | Shows your current Frames Per Second. |
