How to Install Glide Client for Minecraft (1.8.9)

1. Download Glide Client
   Get the full GlideClient folder from the official source (contains GlideClient.json inside).
2. Open Your Minecraft Versions Directory
   • Windows: Press Win + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft\versions, then press Enter.
     Default path: C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions
   • macOS: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G, and enter:
     ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions
   • Linux: Open your file manager and go to:
     ~/.minecraft/versions
3. Install the Client
   Move the entire GlideClient folder (which includes GlideClient.json) into the versions directory. Resulting path should look like:
   ...\.minecraft\versions\GlideClient\GlideClient.json
4. Select the Glide Client in Minecraft Launcher
   • Close and reopen the Minecraft Launcher.
   • Click the version dropdown menu next to the Play button.
   • Look for GlideClient in the list and select it.
   • If you don’t see it, confirm that the folder name and JSON file are correctly placed.
5. Launch the Game
   • Click Play to launch Minecraft using Glide Client.
   • Once in-game, you’ll see the custom Glide Client UI.
   • Open the mod menu with the Right Shift key to access features like PvP mods, HUD customization, and more.
