Torch Hit Mod

Features:

  • Mainhand torch strikes: Hitting a mob with a torch directly ignites it for 4 seconds, simulating the effect of Fire Aspect I.
  • Offhand fire attacks: Hold a torch in your offhand while attacking with any melee weapon to set mobs on fire for 2 seconds.
  • Soul fire effects:
    • If used with Soul Fire’d Mod, soul torches inflict soul fire burn effects.
    • Without it, soul torches still deal extended burn durations, especially effective against mobs like Piglins.
  • Candle combat:
    • Candles can also ignite mobs, but break after use (this can be toggled in the config).
  • Modded torch compatibility: Supports most torch-like items from other mods, and you can define additional items as “torch-compatible” via config.
  • Mob torch logic: Mobs holding torches can also set other mobs on fire, if enabled in settings.
  • Fully configurable system:
    • Customize burn durations for both mainhand and offhand torch hits.
    • Choose which weapons or tools trigger the torch ignition effect.
    • Toggle whether torches or candles break on use.
    • Enable or disable mob-to-mob fire spread when mobs are holding torches.
  • Works with Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and is compatible with Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.20.1.
