FAQs

How do I use an elevator?

Stand on a valid elevator platform and press jump to go up or crouch to go down. Elevators must align vertically with each other.

Do I need to use chains or end rods?

No. The mod allows you to disable the chain requirement in the config, making elevators work even without visual connectors.

Can I use different blocks for elevators?

Yes, you can configure which blocks are recognized as elevator platforms, such as copper or iron.

What’s the max height an elevator can work without chains?

By default, 20 blocks. You can raise this limit in the config—up to 1000 blocks if needed.

Is redstone needed to activate elevators?

No. Elevators function automatically using jump and crouch actions. No wiring or commands required.
